I'm heart-broken for them, I really am, although I'm sure they can handle a defeat much better than me. I must say, as poorly as they skated, those marks were a tad too low, as K/N's were way too high, IMO, so I'm not sure what is going on here! The Spartacus program is growing on me, and I still think it will look stunning once they get their act together and skate it properly. I'm still convinced that L/K can't do anything good for them: the old coaching team and some coreographic help from Dobriazko/Vanagas would have worked much better for them: too bad it was not their choice to make. Maxim looks devastated at the press conference: not exactly the warmest welcome back from mother Russia, it must feel awful! It seems like they can use all the support they can get these days...and a big hug. And kudos to them for skating with all their heart!

It is clear that they still suffer from homesickness and injury and on top of that they are always very nervous when skating in Russia and start making mistakes. Remember the fall in the Tango OD two years ago?
I love surprises!!! ;D Can't wait!

Played the FD video several times now... The middle part with the quiter softer music is nice and could be great come euros and worlds. I wish they could find some other piece of music for the start of the dance because that part is just noise to me and not suitable to dance to at all, although it's dramatic enough...
Congrats for making the GPF again!

I'm glad I'm not the only one playing the FD over and over... The middle part is my favorite too, but the end is also very beautiful, and the crescendo of the finale can be very effective too, if it's well skated. Was it me or that final part with the choreographic lift was completely messed up today and out of rhythm? It looked so much better at the CoC. BTW, those costumes look so magnificent on them!
