Delobel and Schoenfelder are still on this list but they have withdrawn because Isabel has to undergo surgery on her shoulder...

Ah, that's sad for them! It goes to prove how uncertain and terribly frustrating this sport can be.
Best wishes of a speedy recovery to Isa.

ISU European Figure Skating Championships 2009 - Preview
Reigning European Champions Oksana Domnina/Maxim Shabalin (RUS) are back and determined to defend their title. They got a seasons best of 186.77 points from the Cup of China and also took the silver medal at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final last month. Their main rivals are 2008 European and World bronze medallists Jana Khokhlova/Sergei Novitski (RUS/seasons best 187.62 points), who beat Domnina/Shabalin at the Cup of Russia in November. A group of three talented dance teams is expected to fight for a spot on the podium as well: Federica Faiella/Massimo Scali (ITA/seasons best 179.58 points) qualified for the first time for the Grand Prix Final this season and were ranked fourth at Europeans last year. Sinead Kerr/John Kerr (GBR/seasons best 180.20) won their first Grand Prix medals on the circuit this season and Nathalie Pechalat/Fabian Bourzat (FRA/seasons best 175.42) come as the new French Champions to Finland. All have a chance to take their first European medal this year. Reigning World Champions and European silver medallists Isabelle Delobel/Olivier Schoenfelder (FRA) are not competing as she underwent shoulder surgery in early January.
