Tango romantica is nice! OD theme could be either good or bad. Enjoyed the theme last year.

Oksana wrote in her Official Website about their new Original Dance, she told she wont give to much details, but she said her rythm is NO-RUSSIAN.

I really want to know what are they going to skate, ISU have this others rythms, wich one they had choose ::)

Folk / Country Dance
Any type of folk/country dance music or typical dance of the country can be used.
Same examples: Village, Square, Street, Barn dance, Hoedown, Mazurka, Polka, Tarantella, Hula, Hora, Csardas, Kalinka, Gapak,
Syrtaky, Scottish, Irish, Jig, Reel, Guajira, Cumbia, Jarabe, Fandango, Aborigines Dance, Chinese dances, Lesginka, Country
Waltz, Flamenco, etc.

Honestly I will like to see them skating something Latin like Cumbia, something of that style ;D.

Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin talk about their music choices for the new season on their Official Website

Quote:

We considered many options, but in the end we decided to go for something powerful, beautiful, deep and passional.
Our free dance is called "Passion". With this dance we will try to tell about all the feelings between a woman and a man: passion, tenderness, love, hate, and affection. About all the tensions that build in a relationship, and that are experienced by those who are in love, who love and are loved.

Our original dance, "Australian Aboriginals", was a very unexpected choice for us as much as it probably is for you! We would have never imagined us doing something like this! Nevertheless, we believe that you will be amazed by the result of this funny and unusual dance, an "original" dance indeed!

On the Official Website said this :(

Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin withdrew from the Grand Prix 2009.
Dear fans! Unfortunately, the premiere of our programs is delayed - we will not participate in competitions of the Grand Prix series. But our main goal this season are the Olympic Games in Vancouver. Be patient a little longer.
Your Oksana and Maxim.

I can't believe how depressing it is to be a Domnina-Shabalin fan!
Hope this will give Maxim's knee the rest it needs and that they can come back strong for the Olympics (and hopefully europeans too).
